Diodes, TVS/ESD, Rectifiers, Transistors, Power Mosfets

A discrete semiconductor is an individual circuit which performs a single function that affects the flow of electrical current and is contained in its own package and not built on a common semiconductor with other components, so it is unlike an integrated circuit. Discrete semiconductors are circuits that are built out of individual semiconductor components which are connected together on a circuit board or terminal strip.

Types of Discrete Semiconductors:
  • Small Signal Transistor
  • Switching diodes
  • Schottky diodes
  • Rectifiers
  • Ultrafast Recovery Rectifier
  • Power Mosfet
  • Zener diodes
